  • Remove the card and again slide it under the top edge of the battery, near the center.

  • Be extremely careful to slide the card over the front-facing camera and headphone jack cables to avoid cutting them.

  • Slide the card in as far as it will go, breaking through as much of the adhesive as you can.

  • Lift up on the card to pry the second battery cell up from the rear case.

  • If there is significant resistance from the battery when you try to pry it up, reheat the adhesive with an iOpener and repeat the previous 3 steps to break apart the adhesive as necessary.

Verwijder de kaart en schuif deze opnieuw onder de bovenkant van de batterij, nu in het midden.

Ga extreem voorzichtig te werk en zorg dat je je kaart over de kabels van de naar voren gerichte camera en de audio-jack schuif om te voorkomen dat je ze doorsnijdt.

Schuif de kaart zo ver mogelijk onder de batterij door om zo veel mogelijk lijm door te snijden.

Til je kaart omhoog om ook de tweede batterijcel omhoog te wrikken en van de achterste behuizing los te maken.

Als je op stevige weerstand stuit bij het omhoog wrikken van de batterij, verwarm je je de lijm nog eens met behulp van je iOpener en herhaal je de vorige drie stappen om de lijm alsnog door te snijden.
