  • At their event on Monday, Apple showed us some incredible renders of the new MacBook's cutting-edge Force Touch trackpad.

  • We were expecting the MacBook Pro to receive the same trackpad—but this looks somewhat different, with a full lower panel and four springy mounts.

  • Not that we're criticizing—there's certainly a big difference between retrofitting technology into an existing laptop like the MacBook Pro, and a ground-up design like the MacBook. But we'll be excitedly looking for the differences when we get our hands on the MacBook.

Bei seinem Event am Montag hat Apple einige unglaubliche Computeranimationen von seinem hochmodernen Force Touch Trackpad gezeigt.

Wir hatten erwartet, dass das MacBook Pro dasselbe Trackpad erhält, aber dieses hier sieht etwas anders aus. Das untere Panel ist komplett und es gibt vier federnde Halterungen.

Wir wollen ja nicht kritisieren, es ist sicher ein großer Unterschied, ob eine Technologie im Nachhinein in ein existierendes Laptop wie das MacBook Pro eingebaut wird, oder ob es sich wie beim MacBook um ein ganz neues Design handelt. Aber wir werden im Hinblick auf diese Unterschiede ganz genau hinschauen werden, sobald wir das MacBook kriegen.
