Fit the replacement.

  • Examine the end of the rubber wiper: this is what you'll have to match. Unfortunately no guide will help you directly, but many beam wipers seem to use a completely standard rubber pattern. In the example pictured a refill from PIAA worked just fine.

  • Cut the new refill to length, if needed.

  • Use the topmost set of slots in the refill (farthest from the wiping edge). Slide this into the two rails.

  • Clip the end cap back on to finish the job. Congratulate yourself on a cost efficient and environmentally correct replacement job.

Monteer de vervanging.

Onderzoek het uiteinde van de rubberen wisser: dit is wat je moet matchen. Helaas zal geen enkele handleiding je direct helpen, maar veel balkwissers lijken een volledig standaard rubberpatroon te gebruiken. In het afgebeelde voorbeeld werkte een navulling van PIAA prima.

Knip de nieuwe vulling indien nodig op lengte.

Gebruik de bovenste set sleuven in de vulling (het verst verwijderd van de veegrand). Schuif deze in de twee rails.

Klik de einddop er weer op om de klus te klaren. Feliciteer jezelf met een kostenefficiënte en milieuvriendelijke vervangingsklus.
