  • You can test the safety switch (green circle) at this point. Plug the lamp in and while pushing the safety switch all the way down, click through the on settings on the side of the shaft.

  • If the lamp turns on while your pushing the safety switch in, and turns off when you let go, thats your problem!

  • You can put the cone back on *properly* so that the switch is pressed down while the cone is on, or use some tape (electrical or duct tape maybe?) to secure the switch down permanently.

  • If this was not your issue, then you may be able to fix it with the next steps.

En este punto puedes probar el interruptor de seguridad (círculo verde). Enchufa la lámpara y, mientras presionas el interruptor de seguridad hasta el fondo, haz clic en los ajustes de encendido situados en el lateral del eje.

Si la lámpara se enciende mientras presionas el interruptor de seguridad y se apaga cuando lo sueltas, ¡ese es tu problema!

Puedes volver a colocar el cono *propiamente* de modo que el interruptor quede presionado hacia abajo mientras el cono está encendido, o utilizar un poco de cinta adhesiva (¿cinta aislante o eléctrica tal vez?) para fijar el interruptor hacia abajo de forma permanente.

Si éste no era tu problema, es posible que puedas solucionarlo con los pasos siguientes.
