Corroded Socket

  • Make sure the lights are completely unplugged from any electrical sockets before proceeding further.

  • Over time, the contacts inside the socket can become corroded or filled with dirt and grime. This can prevent proper contact between the bulb and the socket, which often results in no power to the bulb.

  • Use a small file or scratch brush to clean the wire contacts of the socket.

  • Once the socket is clean, insert a new bulb into the socket.

Geoxideerd contact

Zorg dat de stekker van de verlichting uit het stopcontact is verwijderd voordat je verder gaat.

Na verloop van tijd kunnen de contacten van de individuele lampjes verroesten of vervuild raken. Dit kan een goede verbinding tussen het lampje en het contact in de weg zitten en dus voorkomen dat het lampje brandt.

Gebruik een kleine vijl of een borsteltje om de kabelaansluitingen in het contact schoon te maken.

Als het contact eenmaal schoon is, kun je een nieuwe lamp in het contact plaatsen.
