Defective Light: Light Keeper instructions

  • You can also use a Light Keeper Pro or similar continuity testing device to pinpoint burnt out bulbs.

  • Plug in the strand of lights, and remove a bulb to connect the Light Keeper Pro to an empty socket.

  • Pull the trigger on the Light Keeper several times to bypass the bad bulb and light the whole strand, leaving the bad bulb dim.

  • Replace the bulb you used to test the strand, then remove and replace any bad bulbs. You can use the Light Keeper to test the new bulbs before you install them.

Kapot lampje: instructies voor de Light Keeper

Je kunt er ook voor kiezen om een Light Keeper Pro (of een soortgelijk apparaat) te gebruiken. Dit apparaat detecteert direct doorgebrande lampjes.

Steek de stekker van de verlichting in het stopcontact en verwijder een lampje om de Light Keeper Pro op een lege aansluiting aan te sluiten.

Haal de schakelaar van de Light Keeper een aantal keer over om de kapotte lamp te omzeilen en de verlichting weer in te schakelen. Hierna wordt het kapotte lampje zichtbaar omdat deze niet brandt.

Vervang het lampje dat je hebt gebruikt om de verlichting te testen en vervang ook alle kapotte (dat is, niet brandende) lampjes. Je kunt de Light Keeper gebruiken om de nieuwe lampjes te testen voordat je ze installeert.
