Modifying the adaptor to fit correctly

  • I noticed that the new adaptor doesn't quite fit in my version of the 27in iMac (late 2013 version). With the hard drive bracket in the position where it should be (indicated by arrow), the new adaptor bumps into the bracket (in area circled).

  • So I made a small modification to the new adaptor with a metal file.

  • Picture with modified adaptor (VESA mount) in place (the red circle around the modification).

Modificar el adaptador para que encaje correctamente

Me di cuenta de que el nuevo adaptador no encaja del todo en mi versión del iMac de 27 pulgadas (versión de finales de 2013). Con el soporte del disco duro en la posición en la que debería estar (indicado por la flecha), el nuevo adaptador choca contra el soporte (en el área marcada con un círculo).

Así que hice una pequeña modificación al nuevo adaptador con una lima de metal.
