Remove and replace the battery.

To remove battery, slide a flat object under the battery and lift. The plastic opening tool will be the best tool for this.
It is possible that the battery may be glued onto the phone. If this is the case, use isopropyl alcohol or adhesive remover underneath the battery to soften the adhesive, then use a suction cup to lift the battery out.
If that doesn't work, use low heat to soften the glue to allow removal without breaking the battery. To heat the glue, use a simple hair dryer, but be very careful as not to overheat the phone and damage any components.
Using heat on a battery for too long can be dangerous and can also potentially damage other parts of the phone.
