  • Just like the iPhone 5s, the iPhone 6 Plus is available in three different colors: Silver, Gold, and Space Gray. Of course we went for the Gold.

  • The iPhone 6 Plus is identified by its model number: A1524.

  • Much to the distress of some reviewers, both iPhone 6 models feature a noticable camera "bump". It seems that Apple was unable to shave enough thickness off of the camera sensor to keep it flush with the rest of the chassis. The lens cover may be made out of sapphire glass, but we're still concerned about what this design choice might mean for durability.

  • Much like the HTC One M8, the iPhone 6 Plus features two plastic antenna stripes on the outer case. These stripes help with wireless reception that would otherwise be blocked by an all-metal outer case.

Proprio come l'iPhone 5s, l'iPhone 6 Plus è disponibile in tre diversi colori: Argento, Oro e Grigio Space. Naturalmente abbiamo scelto l'Oro.

L'iPhone 6 Plus è identificato dal numero di modello: A1524. A1524 è il modello iPhone 6 Plus per il mercato globale. Gli americani riceveranno l'A1522, che offre il supporto per le bande 4G LTE.

Suscitando la costernazione di qualche giornalista, entrambi gli iPhone 6 hanno una visibile "gobba" creata dalla fotocamera. Come se Apple non fosse proprio stata capace di appiattire a sufficienza il modulo fotocamera. E, se è vero che la protezione è in vetro zaffiro, ci chiediamo se questa scelta stilistica non comprometta la durata del dispositivo.

Proprio come l'HTC One M8, l'iPhone 6 Plus si presenta con due strisce di antenna in plastica sul guscio esterno. Strisce che migliorano la ricezione wireless, ostacolata dallo chassis metallico.
