Solder the pin

  • Continue heating the junction by positioning the iron as previously instructed.

  • The material in this junction is sufficiently greater in mass than the battery holder, thus it will require more heat to raise it to the correct temperature. Leave the iron in place a little longer than previously, and check how well solder flows when you begin.

  • Feed solder into the junction.

  • Check for a cold solder joint. Reflow if necessary.

  • Tin the tip of the iron and return the iron to its stand.

Soldeer de pin

Ga door met het verwarmen van de verbinding.

Het materiaal in deze verbinding is groter dan de batterijhouder, en zal dus warmte nodig hebben om op de juiste temperatuur te brengen. Laat de soldeerbout iets langer op zijn plaats dan voorheen en controleer hoe goed het soldeer vloeit als je begint.

Voer soldeertin toe aan de verbinding.

Controleer op een koude soldeerverbinding. Verwarm opnieuw indien nodig.

Vertin de punt van de soldeerbout en plaats deze terug op zijn standaard.
