  • Inspect the bolt. On the newer style, as pictured, there are two different sizes of o-rings to seal the bolt. One the earlier style, there is only one o-ring.

  • On this bolt, the o-rings are old, brittle, and flattened. They need to be replaced, there are o-rings in most metric o-ring kits that will fit.

  • On the early style housing there is also a copper crush washer that goes under the head of the bolt, in place of the second o-ring. This should be replaced with every filter change.

Inspectez le boulon. Sur le modèle le plus récent, comme illustré, il existe deux tailles différentes de joints toriques pour sceller le boulon. Dans le style précédent, il n’y a qu’un seul joint torique.

Sur ce boulon, les joints toriques sont vieux, cassants et aplatis. Ils doivent être remplacés, il y a des joints toriques dans la plupart des kits de joints toriques métriques qui conviendront.

Sur le boîtier de style ancien, il y a également une rondelle d'écrasement en cuivre qui passe sous la tête du boulon, à la place du deuxième joint torique. Celui-ci doit être remplacé à chaque changement de filtre.
