  • Finish by reattaching the two housings together, and then attaching the cover with your new screws.

  • In this situation, the metal remaining after the rivets were drilled out was just soft enough that the screws bit in to the metal and tapped their own thread. If necessary the holes can be tapped with a thread tapping tool to allow for new screws to be installed.

Terminez en rapprochant les deux boîtiers ensemble, puis en fixant le couvercle avec vos nouvelles vis.

Dans cette situation, le métal restant après le perçage des rivets était juste assez mou pour que les vis s'enfoncent dans le métal et forment leur propre filetage. Si nécessaire, les trous peuvent être taraudés avec un outil de taraudage pour permettre l'installation de nouvelles vis.
