  • Reach up inside the shell of the door and gently pull the switch down towards the opening in the door. Do not force the vacuum lines to bend excessively.

  • Inspect the switch, especially the metal end. If it looks heavily corroded/rusted or if the metal mechanism on the switch is very loose the switch may be a source of leaks. Consider replacing it. The switch on this car was leaking and was already replaced in this picture.

Greife in den Türrahmen hinein und ziehe das Ventil nach unten zur Türöffnung hin. Verbiege die Unterdruckleitungen nicht zu stark.

Überprüfe das Hauptsteuerventil, insbesonders das metallene Ende. Wenn es stark korrodiert/verrostet ist, oder wenn die Metallmechanik locker scheint, könnte das Ventil die Ursache von Undichtigkeiten sein. Du solltest es dann auswechseln. Bei diesem Fahrzeug war das Ventil undicht und wurde schon durch ein neues ersetzt.
