Assess the damage

  • Assess both wheels on the luggage:

  • Damaged Tread - If the rubber on the wheel has a flat spot or the tread is missing completely (reference image #3), the wheel must be replaced.

  • Damaged Axle - A slow‑moving or awkwardly angled wheel is often a sign of a bent or damaged axle.

  • Missing Wheel - If both the wheel and axle are missing, skip to Step 3.

  • As you remove parts, determine what is damaged and whether any parts (wheel or axle) are reusable.

Valuta il danno

Valuta entrambe le ruote del bagaglio:

Battistrada danneggiato - Se la gomma della ruota ha un punto piatto o il battistrada è completamente assente (vedi immagine #3), la ruota deve essere sostituita.

Asse danneggiato - Una ruota che si muove lentamente o è inclinata in modo strano è spesso segno di un asse piegato o danneggiato.

Ruota mancante - Se sia la ruota che l'asse sono mancanti, passa al Passo 3.

Man mano che rimuovi le parti, determina cosa è danneggiato e se qualche parte (ruota o asse) può essere riutilizzata.
