Reassemble the Power Brick

  • You may wish to (carefully) test it prior to closing everything up. Just carefully plug it in to the device and to the AC outlet (smoke test), and see if your device operates as expected. If it does, continue with the reassembly. If not, open things up and troubleshoot.

  • Orient the PC board back into the case. The component side of the PC board should be facing the yellow pad. The stress relief collar goes into the small hole at one end of the case. The AC cord socket goes on the end with the large rectangular hole.

  • Once you are confident that things are oriented correctly and working properly, you may glue the plastic power brick case closed. If you promise to be careful, you can instead hold the power brick case closed with tape or some sturdy rubber bands.

  • We're done!

Zet de voedingsadapter weer in elkaar

Het is misschien een goed idee om de adapter (voorzichtig) te testen voordat je alles weer dichtdoet. Sluit de adapter voorzichtig aan op het apparaat en op het stopcontact (rooktest) en kijk of het apparaat naar behoren werkt. Zo ja, ga dan verder met de montage. Zo niet, open dan alles weer en los het probleem op.

Plaats de printplaat terug in de behuizing. De componentzijde van de printplaat moet naar het gele vlak wijzen. De trekontlastingskraag gaat in het kleine gat aan één kant van de behuizing. De aansluiting voor het netsnoer gaat aan de kant met het grote rechthoekige gat.

Zodra je er zeker van bent dat alles goed staat en werkt, kun je de plastic behuizing van de stroomadapter dichtlijmen. Als je belooft voorzichtig te zijn, kun je de behuizing van de stroomadapter ook dichtplakken met tape.
