2) U11 error. The U11 error might appear on you camera’s view finder, and will either not record or record unseeable footage. That issue generally indicates a problem with the tape mechanism or with the tape itself, or there could be several issues with the tape mechanism, the most common being dirty drum heads or humidity. To solve that issue:

Check if your your cassette is in a good shape and works with other devices, if yes then:

( Solution 1 ), " dirty heads " First take a cotton pad or soft napkin and soak a portion of it in pure alcohol then while holding it with a pair of tweezers

Softly rub the soaked side against the drum heads while spinning the drum gently. Continue that process for around two to three minutes without moving around other components inside. Try using the camcorder now, if the error is still there then:

( Solution 2 ) " humidity interference " First take a silica bead packet or more and gently place it inside of the video tape compartment and close it inside

Leave it in a dry area of the house where there is little to no humidity and wait a couple of days, after that proceed to "solution 1"
