Secure the phone to your work surface

  • Since the battery pull tabs require two hands, you'll need to firmly secure the phone to your work surface.

  • Before securing your phone, clean the work surface, making sure nothing is under the screen.

  • Only secure the phone by the raised lip of the frame, and be very careful not to clamp down on any internal components.

  • Use F‑Clamps or C‑Clamps to secure the phone to your work surface. At minimum, you'll need two clamps—one for the top edge and one for the bottom edge.

  • Use clamps with plastic or rubber pads. If using metal clamps, place a cloth between the frame and the clamp to avoid marring the metal frame.

  • If you don't have any clamps, have a friend hold the phone firmly in place.

  • Make sure to follow ESD precautions when securing the phone.

Smartphone am Arbeitstisch befestigen

Für die Zuglaschen benötigst du beide Hände, deswegen musst du das Smartphone gut am Arbeitstisch befestigen.

Achte darauf, dass sich keine Fremdkörper dort befinden, wo du das Smartphone befestigen willst.

Das Smartphone darf nur an den hochstehenden Kanten des Rahmens festgeklemmt werden, achte darauf, dass keine inneren Bauteile festgedrückt werden.

Benutze F‑Zwingen oder C‑Zwingen zum Festklemmen am Arbeitstisch. Du brauchst mindestens zwei davon, eine für die Oberkante und eine für die Unterkante.

Deine Zwingen sollten Kunststoff- oder Gummiauflagen haben oder du musst ganz besonders vorsichtig sein, damit das Gehäuse nicht verunstaltet wird. Wenn du Klemmen aus Metall verwendest, dann lege ein Tuch dazwischen.

Wenn du keine Zwingen hast, dann bitte eine zweite Person, das Smartphone gut festzuhalten.
