Heat the battery

  • Before starting the battery removal process, carefully read the next three steps. The pull tabs are most effective immediately after heating the battery, so you'll want to know exactly what to do before starting the process.

  • Very strong strips of adhesive secure the battery to the frame. Heating the battery will soften the adhesive underneath, making it easier to separate.

  • Use a hair dryer on High heat and Low airspeed settings to heat the battery for three minutes, while holding the hair dryer about three inches from the battery, and moving it constantly. Try to evenly spread the heat over the entire surface of the battery—don't hover in one place for too long.

  • Alternatively, you can use a heat mat at 80 °C (176 °F) with your phone placed screen-side down for 10 minutes.

Chauffer la batterie

Avant de commencer, lisez attentivement les trois étapes suivantes. Les languettes sont plus efficaces immédiatement après avoir chauffé la batterie. Il est donc important de savoir exactement comment procéder.

Des bandes adhésives très résistantes fixent la batterie au châssis. Chauffer la batterie va ramollir l'adhésif situé en dessous et faciliter sa séparation.

Utilisez un sèche-cheveux réglé sur une température élevée et une vitesse d'air faible pour chauffer la batterie pendant trois minutes, en le tenant à environ 8 cm de celle-ci et en le déplaçant constamment. Essayez de répartir uniformément la chaleur sur toute la surface de la batterie. Ne restez pas trop longtemps au même endroit.

Vous pouvez également utiliser un tapis chauffant à 80 °C avec votre smartphone placé face écran vers le bas pendant 10 minutes.
