Open controller grip

  • Use either a guitar pick or thin sheet of metal, pry open the grip sensing panel.

  • There are five plastic clips around and under the grip sensor. Use the tool to pry up around the sensor to lift it out of the handle.

  • Tuck in starting closer to the top of the controller, and apply force to lift the panel away. Move further around the sensor, using a second tool if needed to keep the grip sensor off of the handle.

  • With gentle force, the propped grip can be removed from the main handle.

  • Be careful when removing! There is a ribbon cable underneath the panel, tucked between the circuit board and outer housing, and attached to the circuit board buried inside. Make sure the cable doesn't detach.

Griff des Kontrollers öffnen

Heble das Griffsensor-Panel mit einem Plektrum oder einem dünnen Metallwerkzeug vorsichtig auf.

Es befinden sich fünf Kunststoffclips rund um und unter dem Griffsensor. Verwende dein Werkzeug, um vorsichtig rund um den Sensor zu hebeln, bis du ihn aus dem Griff herauslösen kannst.

Setze das Werkzeug zunächst näher an der Oberseite des Controllers an und übe Druck aus, um das Panel anzuheben. Arbeite dich weiter rund um den Sensor vor und verwende bei Bedarf ein zweites Werkzeug, um den Griffsensor vom Griff abgehoben zu halten.

Mit leichtem Druck lässt sich der angehobene Griff vom Hauptgehäuse lösen.

Sei beim Entfernen besonders vorsichtig! Unter dem Panel befindet sich ein Flachbandkabel, das zwischen der Leiterplatte und dem äußeren Gehäuse verläuft und an der innenliegenden Platine befestigt ist. Achte darauf, dass sich das Kabel dabei nicht löst.
