Setting up Our Scene
  • Open a New General Project in Blender and Delete the Default Cube.

  • Add a Torus to the scene by clicking Add > Mesh > Torus. This will add a standard Torus to the Scene.

  • Typically when modeling an object you are going to want to start with a primitive object that most resembles what you are attempting to monitor. I.e, if you are attempting to model a house then you will want to start with a square, or if you're building a vase then you will start with a cylinder.
