Prepare the dies

  • Check that the back of the rivet (nail) fits into the nail die. Put the rivet nail aside and place the nail die into the bottom slot of the hand press.

  • Snap the front of the rivet (head) into the head die. The rivet head should stay securely in the die.

  • To insert the head die into the press:

  • Use your fingers, a screwdriver, or a hex key, as needed, to unscrew the tightening mechanism on the side of the press near the top die fitting.

  • Insert the die upward and hold it in place.

  • Tighten the tightening mechanism.

Prepara le matrici

Verifica che la parte posteriore del rivetto (gambo) si adatti alla matrice per il gambo. Metti da parte il gambo del rivetto e inserisci la matrice del gambo nello slot inferiore della pressa manuale.

Inserisci la parte anteriore del rivetto (testa) nella matrice per la testa. La testa del rivetto dovrebbe rimanere saldamente nella matrice.

Per inserire la matrice per la testa nella pressa:

Usa le dita, un cacciavite o una chiave esagonale, se necessario, per svitare il meccanismo di serraggio sul lato della pressa vicino alla parte superiore della matrice.

Inserisci la matrice verso l'alto e tienila in posizione.

Riavvita il meccanismo di serraggio.
