Prepare the dies

  • Check that the back of the rivet (nail) fits into the nail die. Put the rivet nail aside and place the nail die into the bottom slot of the hand press.

  • Snap the front of the rivet (head) into the head die. The rivet head should stay securely in the die.

  • To insert the head die into the press:

  • Use your fingers, a screwdriver, or a hex key, as needed, to unscrew the tightening mechanism on the side of the press near the top die fitting.

  • Insert the die upward and hold it in place.

  • Tighten the tightening mechanism.

Prepara los troqueles

Comprueba que la parte posterior del remache (clavo) encaja en el troquel de clavos. Pon el remache a un lado y coloca el troquel de clavos en la ranura inferior de la prensa manual.

Encaja la parte delantera del remache (cabeza) en el troquel de cabezas. La cabeza del remache debe quedar bien sujeta en el troquel.

Para insertar el troquel de cabezas en la prensa:

Usa los dedos, un destornillador o una llave hexagonal, según sea necesario, para desenroscar el mecanismo de apriete en el lado de la prensa cerca de la parte superior del accesorio de troquel.

Inserta el troquel hacia arriba y mantenlo en su lugar.

Aprieta el mecanismo de apriete.
