Partially fasten the rivet

  • Place the head and nail pieces of the rivet on either side of the hole left by the original rivet.

  • Use your fingers or needle nose pliers to squeeze both sides of the rivet together.

  • This pressure should be enough to partially fasten the rivet and keep the pieces in place without being held.

Fixer partiellement le rivet

Placez la tête et le clou du rivet de part et d'autre du trou laissé par le rivet d'origine.

Utilisez vos doigts ou une pince à bec long pour serrer les deux côtés du rivet l'un contre l'autre.

Cette pression devrait suffire à fixer partiellement le rivet et à maintenir les pièces en place sans que vous ne les teniez.
