Assess the damage

  • Assess the state of the drawcord - if it's damaged, stretched out, or missing entirely.

  • If original drawcord is present, take note of:

  • Design - How the drawcord is threaded into the garment (e.g. through hand pockets or a grosgrain loop)

  • Cord Lock - How the drawcord threads through the cord lock(s)

  • Other Pieces - If the drawcord is used with any additional hard trims like end caps or clear plastic discs

  • If the drawcord is missing entirely, please see Step 3.

Evaluar el daño

Evalúa el estado del cordón: si está dañado, estirado o si falta por completo.

Si el cordón original está presente, toma nota de:

Diseño: cómo se enhebra el cordón en la prenda (por ejemplo, a través de los bolsillos de mano o de un lazo de grogrén)

Bloqueador del cordón: cómo se enhebra el cordón a través de los bloqueadores del cordón

Otras piezas: si el cordón se usa con adornos duros adicionales como tapas o discos de plástico transparente

Si el cordón no está presente, consulta el paso 3.
