Remove the damaged drawcord

  • On both ends of the drawcord:

  • Use flush cutters to pry off the tip of the end cap.

  • Pull the drawcord end out of the end cap and untie the knot.

  • Remove the base of the end cap and any plastic discs (if present).

  • Wear safety glasses.

  • Save all these pieces.

  • Unthread the drawcord by releasing the tension from the cord locks and pulling it out of the garment completely.

  • The drawcord end knots can also be cut for faster removal (reference image #2). If doing so, add 1 inch (~25 mm) to the measurement in Step 3.

Rimuovi il cordino danneggiato

Su entrambe le estremità del cordino:

Utilizza delle tronchesi per rimuovere la punta del cappuccio terminale.

Estrai l'estremità del cordino dal cappuccio e disfa il nodo.

Rimuovi la base del cappuccio terminale ed eventuali dischi di plastica (se presenti).

Indossa occhiali di protezione.

Conserva tutte queste parti.

Sfila il cordino rilasciando la tensione dai blocca-cordino e tirandolo fuori completamente dall'indumento.

I nodi alle estremità del cordino possono anche essere tagliati per una rimozione più rapida (consulta l'immagine #2). Se lo fai, aggiungi 2,5 cm (1 pollice) alla misura del Passo 3.
