  • If the tape is difficult to remove, use an iOpener or hair dryer to lightly heat it. Be careful not to overheat the tape or the surrounding components.

  • Use tweezers or your fingers to peel the tape off the bottom edge of the heat sink.

  • You don't need to fully remove the tape—it can stay attached to the metal shield.

Als je moeite hebt met het verwijderen van de tape kun je een iOpener of een föhn gebruiken om de tape te verhitten. Wees echter wel voorzichtig en voorkom dat je de onderdelen eromheen oververhit.

Trek de tape met een pincet of je vingers van de onderkant van het koellichaam af.

Het is niet nodig om de tape in z'n geheel te verwijderen. Het is prima als de tape op het metalen schild blijft zitten.
