If the tape is difficult to remove, use an iOpener or hair dryer to lightly heat it. Be careful not to overheat the tape or the surrounding components.
Use the point of a spudger to peel up the tape enough that you can grip it with a pair of tweezers or your fingers.
Peel the tape off of the shield.
You don't need to fully remove the tape—it can stay attached to one of the metal shields.
