How to read the Touch-Safe Indicator LED

  • The color of the Touch-Safe Indicator LED provides information about the status of the soldering iron tip. Note: the soldering iron grip is always safe to touch.

  • The LED only functions when the soldering iron is connected to a power source—so use caution when handling an unplugged iron if you don't know how hot it is.

  • Blue LED: The iron has cooled below 40 °C (100 °F), and the tip is safe to touch.

  • Purple LED: When pulsing, the iron is actively heating up or cooling down. When static, the iron is in Idle Mode. The iron tip is not safe to touch.

  • Orange LED: The iron has reached the set temperature and is ready to solder. The iron tip is not safe to touch.

Cómo leer el LED indicador de seguridad al tacto

El color del LED indicador de seguridad al tacto proporciona información sobre el estado de la punta del soldador. Nota: la empuñadura del soldador siempre es segura al tacto.

El LED sólo funciona cuando el soldador está conectado a una fuente de alimentación, así que ten cuidado al manipular un soldador desenchufado si no sabes lo caliente que está.

LED azul: El soldador se ha enfriado por debajo de 40 °C (100 °F) y se puede tocar la punta sin peligro.

LED morado: Cuando parpadea, la plancha se está calentando o enfriando activamente. Cuando está enmodo de reposo, el soldador está en modo inactivo. No es seguro tocar la punta de la plancha.

LED naranja: La plancha ha alcanzado la temperatura establecida y está lista para soldar. No es seguro tocar la punta de la plancha.
