Metal roll cage removal

  • First, remove four TX4 screws from the front of the GoPro

  • Then remove one TX4 Screw from the inside of the GoPro as shown in the picture

  • In some occasions, you can remove the cage by applying enough force from the front of the GoPro where the lens cover was, but in my case i had to use a precision knife to chip away four melted plastic pins for easier removal and then apply force

Entferne den Schutzkäfig aus Metall

Löse zuerst vier TX4-Schrauben an der Vorderseite der GoPro.

Löse danach eine TX4-Schraube von der Seite der GoPro, wie es in dem Bild gezeigt wird.

In manchen Fällen ist es möglich, den Käfig einfach mit genug Kraft, an der Stelle wo die Linse war, herauszuziehen, aber in meinem Fall musste ich zuerst mit einem Skalpell vier Plastikpins wegschmelzen und danach konnte ich den Käfig mit viel Kraft entfernen.
