Separate the trackpad cable adhesive

The right side of the trackpad cable is secured with strong adhesive. Heating the cable softens the adhesive, making it easier to separate.
Heat an iOpener and lay it on the trackpad cable for one minute to soften the adhesive.
Alternatively, you can use a hair dryer or heat gun to heat the cable.
