Remove the lower case screws

  • Throughout this repair, keep track of each screw and make sure it goes back exactly where it came from.

  • While the Surface Laptop 7 uses Torx Plus screws, standard Torx bits work. Make sure to apply constant, downward force to prevent stripping.

  • Use a Torx Plus 5IP screwdriver to remove the four 4.5 mm‑long screws (with washers) securing the lower case.

Retire los tornillos de la carcasa inferior.

Durante esta reparación, lleve un registro de cada tornillo y asegúrese de que vuelva exactamente a su lugar de origen.

Aunque la Surface Laptop 7 usa tornillos Torx Plus, las puntas Torx estándar funcionan. Asegúrese de aplicar una fuerza constante hacia abajo para evitar que se dañen.

Utilice un destornillador Torx Plus 5IP para quitar los cuatro tornillos de 4,5 mm de largo (con arandelas) que sujetan la carcasa inferior.
