Remove the CMOS battery

Insert the flat end of a spudger underneath the CMOS battery and pry it up to separate the adhesive securing it to the frame.
Remove the CMOS battery.
If your replacement battery doesn't include new adhesive, use thin, double-sided tape to secure it to the chassis.
