Disconnect the backlight cable

  • Use blunt nose tweezers to grip the backlight cable close to its head and pull it away from its ZIF connector slowly and steadily to separate the coating.

  • If the coating feels stubborn, reheat the connector and try again.

  • Keep pulling on the cable until it comes completely out of its socket.

  • During reassembly:

  • Inspect the head of the cable and the ZIF connector for any remaining coating that could prevent a good connection.

  • Peel off the coating—heating the cable and the ZIF connector when the coating becomes too brittle.

  • It doesn't have to look pretty! You just need to remove enough coating to have the cable sit properly in its connector.

Kabel der Hintergrundbeleuchtung abtrennen

Fasse das Kabel der Hintergrundbeleuchtung nahe am Kopf mit einer stumpfen Pinzette und ziehe es langsam und gleichmäßig von seinem ZIF-Stecker ab, um die Beschichtung zu lösen.

Wenn sich die Beschichtung zäh anfühlt, erwärme den Stecker erneut und versuche es noch einmal.

Ziehe weiter am Kabel, bis es sich vollständig aus dem Anschluss löst.

Achte beim Wiederzusammenbau auf folgende Punkte:

Prüfe das Kabelende und den ZIF-Stecker auf eventuelle Beschichtungsreste, die eine gute Verbindung verhindern könnten.

Ziehe die Beschichtung ab, erwärme das Kabel und den ZIF-Stecker, wenn die Beschichtung zu spröde wird.

Es muss nicht schön aussehen! Du musst nur so viel Beschichtung entfernen, dass das Kabel richtig in seinem Stecker sitzt.
