Remove the top shield plate

  • Lift and remove the top shield plate.

  • During reassembly, this is a good point to replace any thermal pads on the top of the main board, if necessary. The pads may be stuck to both the top shield plate and the main board.

  • It's important that the replacement pads are the same thickness as the originals, otherwise the foam around the APU may not seal properly.

Retira la placa de protección superior

Levanta y retira la placa de protección superior.

Durante el reensamblaje, este es un buen momento para reemplazar las almohadillas térmicas de la parte superior de la placa base, si es necesario. Las almohadillas pueden estar pegadas tanto a la placa de protección superior como a la placa base.

Es importante que las almohadillas de repuesto tengan el mismo grosor que las originales; de lo contrario, la espuma que rodea la APU podría no sellarse correctamente.
