Detach the connector head

  • Use a bit of heat to loosen the glue around the base of the connector that connects to the mainboard.

  • Once the glue around the base is soft, pry the glue away.

  • Most glues will melt at around 100-110F (37-43C). Be careful not to apply too much heat or the plastic connector will start to melt and deform.

  • Gently lift the small white tabs holding each wire in place and remove the wires one by one.

  • Save the connector head for step 16.

Separa el cabezal del conector

Usa un poco de calor para aflojar el pegamento alrededor de la base del conector que se conecta a la placa base.

Una vez que el pegamento alrededor de la base esté suave, quítalo haciendo palanca.

La mayoría de los pegamentos se derriten entre 37 y 43 °C (100 y 110 °F). Ten cuidado de no aplicar demasiado calor o el conector de plástico comenzará a derretirse y deformarse.

Levanta con cuidado las pequeñas pestañas blancas que sujetan cada cable en su lugar y retira los cables uno por uno.

Guarda el cabezal del conector para el paso 16.
