Position the iron-on Patch

  • For this repair, we decided to put the patch on the inside of the garment; so the hole will remain slightly visible on the front but will be repaired.

  • Turn the item inside-out, and flatten the area to be repaired.

  • Cut the patch to size, ensuring it completely covers the damaged area. The patch should be 1cm larger than the hole on all sides.

Voor deze reparatie hebben we ervoor gekozen om de patch aan de binnenkant van het kledingstuk te plaatsen; het gat blijft dus licht zichtbaar aan de voorkant, maar is wel gerepareerd.

Keer het kledingstuk binnenstebuiten en maak het gebied dat gerepareerd moet worden plat.

Knip de patch op maat, zodat deze het beschadigde gebied volledig bedekt. De patch moet aan alle kanten 1 cm groter zijn dan het gat.
