  • Once you have created the Bootable USB Drive, made a backup of everything, and have successfully installed OpenCore on your Mac, you are ready to continue.

  • Restart your Mac, and hold down the Option (alt) key on your Mac.

  • In Startup Manager, you will see the OpenCore logo, and it will say "EFI Boot"

  • When booting into the OpenCore OCLP boot picker for the first time, your Mac will then boot into it by default on every restart.

  • You must have the USB Drive connected to the Mac BEFORE loading the OCLP boot picker, or else it will not show up. Also, if you had to install OpenCore on the USB Drive instead of on the Mac's internal drive, EFI Boot will not appear in the boot picker until you connect the drive.

Wenn der bootfähige USB-Stick fertig, ein Backup aller Daten erstellt und Open Core erfolgreich installiert ist, kann es losgehen.

Starte deinen Mac neu und halte dabei die Options(bzw. alt)Taste gedrückt.

Im Bootmanager findest du auch das Open Core Logo mit der Bezeichnung "EFI Boot".

Wenn du im Open Core EFI Picker startest, wird dein Mac automatisch auf diese Weise booten.

Das USB-Laufwerk muss vor dem Laden des Boot Pickers an den Mac angeschlossen werden, sonst erscheint dieser nicht. Wenn OpenCore auf dem USB-Laufwerk statt der internen Festplatte installiert ist, erscheint EFI Boot auch erst, bis das Laufwerk verbunden ist.
