Removing the Motor from the Housing
  • Turn the motor container on its side, with the wires pointing up.

  • Unscrew the 3 screws attaching the motor to the housing.

  • Take the yellow wire out of the screw.

  • Use a wrench to remove the bolt from the shaft of the motor, located on the opposite side.

  • If rust has accumulated on the motor shaft, you may wish to use sandpaper to remove it to make the motor easier to remove.

  • Firmly grasp the motor from the side where the screws were previously located and pull to remove it.

  • The white label on the side of the motor contains the model number of the blower motor which you may use as a reference when ordering a replacement, if necessary.
