Reassembly information

  • If you're installing a new screen with pre-installed adhesive, follow this step during reassembly. Otherwise, follow this guide to apply adhesive to your old screen.

  • Thoroughly check the entire screen for any plastic liners or tape and use the pull tabs to remove all of them. Look carefully for a large piece of plastic covering the back of the screen, a small one near the front camera cutout, and adhesive liners around the perimeter.

  • Reconnect the screen cable and reinstall its cover.

  • This is a good point to test your phone before sealing it up. Temporarily power on your phone and make sure it works as expected. Power it down before continuing.

  • Firmly press the screen into place on the frame—you should feel the clips "pop" into place.

  • Press firmly around the perimeter of the screen to secure it with the new adhesive.

  • Optionally, you can strengthen the adhesive bond by applying pressure evenly to the phone.

  • Follow this guide to calibrate the fingerprint sensor.

Se stai installando un nuovo schermo con adesivo preinstallato, segui questo passaggio durante il rimontaggio. Altrimenti, segui questa guida per applicare l'adesivo sul vecchio schermo.

Controlla accuratamente l'intero schermo per eventuali rivestimenti di plastica o nastro e utilizza le linguette per rimuoverli tutti. Cerca attentamente un grande pezzo di plastica che copra la parte posteriore dello schermo, uno piccolo vicino al ritaglio della fotocamera anteriore e rivestimenti adesivi intorno al perimetro.

Riconnetti il cavo dello schermo e reinstalla la sua copertura.

Questo è un buon momento per testare il telefono prima di sigillarlo. Accendi temporaneamente il telefono e assicurati che funzioni come previsto. Spegnilo prima di continuare.

Premi saldamente lo schermo in posizione sulla cornice, si dovrebbero sentire le clip fare "pop" scattando in posizione.

Premi saldamente intorno al perimetro dello schermo per fissarlo con il nuovo adesivo.

Opzionalmente, puoi rafforzare il legame dell'adesivo applicando una pressione uniforme al telefono.
