Lift a section of bottom cover screw pad

  • Insert the point of a spudger under the pad's inner edge, near the screw you applied heat to in the previous step.

  • This may take some force. If you're having trouble, apply more heat and try again.

  • Use the spudger to lift the pad and separate the adhesive.

Dégagement d'une partie du cache de protection des vis du couvercle inférieur

Insérez la pointe d'une spatule (spudger) sous l'arête intérieure du cache, près de la vis sur laquelle vous avez appliqué votre iOpener à l'étape précédente.

Insérer la pointe de la spatule nécessite une certaine force. Si l'opération est trop difficile, réchauffez la zone avant de réessayer.

Utilisez la spatule pour ensuite soulever le cache et le désolidariser de l'adhésif.
