Lint Collection and Disposal

  • Clean the lint trap of the dryer and dispose of lint in trash.

  • If your garment is still shedding fibers, repeat this process from the start, beginning with the wash cycle.

  • Testing has shown that minimal to no fiber shedding occurs in the washing step. The potential for microfibers to enter our waterways is very low. Most of the fibers are removed in the drying step and are captured in the lint trap.

Ramassage et élimination des peluches

Nettoyez le filtre à peluches du sèche-linge et jetez les peluches à la poubelle.

Si votre vêtement perd encore des fibres, répétez ce processus depuis le début, en commençant par le cycle de lavage.

Les tests ont montré qu'il n'y a que très peu, voire pas du tout, de perte de fibres au cours de l'étape de lavage. Le risque que des microfibres se retrouvent dans nos cours d'eau est très faible. La plupart des fibres sont éliminées lors de l'étape de séchage et sont récupérées dans le filtre à peluches.
