Brush your USB-C port

  • Don't use any metal tools to clean the USB-C port, as you risk damaging it.

  • Insert the head of a brush, like a dry toothbrush, into the port, making sure the hairs surround the middle contact pad (the black tab in the middle of the port).

  • Gently turn the brush in small circles to break up any clumped debris.

  • Remove the brush and use a dust blower or compressed air to blow out any debris.

  • If any debris is stuck, reinsert the brush and rotate it to let the hairs "scoop" out any debris.

  • Plug in your device and check if it's working. If it's still not working, move on to the next step.

Maak de USB-C-poort schoon met een borstel

Gebruik geen metalen gereedschap om de USB-C-poort schoon te maken, omdat je deze dan kunt beschadigen.

Steek de kop van een borstel, zoals een droge tandenborstel, in de poort en zorg ervoor dat de haren het middelste contactvlak omringen (het zwarte lipje in het midden van de poort).

Draai de borstel voorzichtig in kleine cirkels om eventueel samengeklonterd vuil los te maken.

Verwijder de borstel en gebruik een stofblazer of perslucht om eventueel vuil weg te blazen.

Als er nog steeds vuil vastzit, plaats je de borstel opnieuw en draai je hem rond, zodat de haren het vuil eruit kunnen "scheppen".

Sluit het apparaat aan en controleer of het werkt. Als het nog steeds niet werkt, ga dan verder met de volgende stap.
