Check for strip-to-strip shorts

  • Use your multimeter to test that there's no contact between the two strips. Your meter should read OL.

  • If there's some resistance value between the strips, check for physical contact between the strips.

  • If there's physical contact like a bent strip or a cracked holder, replace the holder.

  • If there's some resistance value, and there's no physical contact between the strips, go to the next step to replace the connector module.

Vérifier la présence de courts-circuits entre les bandes

Utilisez votre multimètre pour vérifier qu'il n'y a pas de contact entre les deux bandes. Votre multimètre doit indiquer "OL".

S'il y a une valeur de résistance entre les bandes, vérifiez s'il elles se touchent.

En cas de contact physique, comme une bande pliée ou une fissure du porte-filtre, changez le porte-filtre.

S'il y a une valeur de résistance et que les bandes ne se touchent pas, passez à l'étape suivante pour remplacer le module du capteur d’humidité.
