Test the hi-limit thermostat

  • If you do not need to test the hi-limit thermostat, skip this step.

  • This step requires a multimeter. If you aren't familiar with how to use one, here is a guide that will help you.

  • With the hi-limit thermostat disconnected, you can check it for continuity. It should show continuity (less than 1 Ω) at room temperature.

  • If it shows OL or anything above 1 Ω, replace it.

Test de hi-limit thermostaat

Als je de hi-limit thermostaat niet per se hoeft te testen, kun je deze stap overslaan.

Voor deze stap heb je een multimeter nodig. Als je niet weet hoe je een multimeter gebruikt, kun je deze handleiding raadplegen om daar achter te komen.

Nu de hi-limit thermostaat losgekoppeld is, kun je deze testen op continuïteit. De gemeten continuïteit zou (bij kamertemperatuur) minder dan 1 Ω moeten zijn.

Als de multimeter 'OL' of een waarde boven de 1 Ω aangeeft, moet je de thermostaat vervangen.
