Test the hi-limit thermostat

  • If you do not need to test the hi-limit thermostat, skip this step.

  • This step requires a multimeter. If you aren't familiar with how to use one, here is a guide that will help you.

  • With the hi-limit thermostat disconnected, you can check it for continuity. It should show continuity (less than 1 Ω) at room temperature.

  • If it shows OL or anything above 1 Ω, replace it.

Tester le thermostat

Si vous n'avez pas besoin de tester le thermostat, sautez cette étape.

Cette étape nécessite un multimètre. Si vous ne savez pas comment en utiliser un, voici un tutoriel qui vous aidera.

Une fois le thermostat déconnecté, vous pouvez vérifier la continuité. Elle doit être de moins de 1 Ω à température ambiante.

Si le multimètre indique OL ou une valeur supérieure à 1 Ω, changez le thermostat.
