Test the hi-limit thermostat

  • If you do not need to test the hi-limit thermostat, skip this step.

  • This step requires a multimeter. If you aren't familiar with how to use one, here is a guide that will help you.

  • With the hi-limit thermostat disconnected, you can check it for continuity. It should show continuity (less than 1 Ω) at room temperature.

  • If it shows OL or anything above 1 Ω, replace it.

Probar el termostato de alto límite

Si no necesitas comprobar el termostato de alto límite, sáltate este paso.

Este paso requiere un multímetro. Si no sabes cómo utilizarlo, aquí tienes una guía que te ayudará.

Con el termostato de alto límite desconectado, puedes comprobar su continuidad. Debería mostrar continuidad (menos de 1 Ω) a temperatura ambiente.

Si muestra OL o algo superior a 1 Ω, sustitúyelo.
