Remove the solder bridge

  • With the solder wick on top of the solder bridge, heat the wick using the soldering iron by pressing on top of the affected area.

  • The solder wick will be very hot! Avoiding touching the area of the wick near the soldering iron.

  • Alternatively, use wire cutters to cut off about 2 cm (0.75") of braid. Use tweezers or needle nose pliers to place it as described above.

  • Continue to apply pressure with the soldering iron to the solder bridge until the solder is melted and absorbed by the wick.

  • A soldering flux can also be used here to aid in the desoldering process by reducing oxide films.

Lötbrücke beseitigen

Lege die Entlötlitze auf die Lötbrücke und erhitze sie. Drücke dafür den Lötkolben auf die betroffene Stelle.

Die Entlötlitze wird dabei sehr heiß! Achte darauf, dass du den Bereich der Entlötlitze in der Nähe des Lötkolbens nicht berührst.

Du kannst auch ein etwas 2 cm langes Stück der Entlötlitze mit einem Seitenschneider abschneiden. Lege den Abschnitt wie oben beschrieben mit einer Pinzette oder einer Spitzzange auf die Lötbrücke.

Drücke weiterhin mit dem Lötkolben auf die Lötbrücke, bis das Lötzinn geschmolzen ist und von der Entlötlitze aufgesogen wurde.

Du kannst bei diesem Schritt auch Flussmittel (Flux) verwenden, um eine Oxidation des Metalls so weit wie möglich zu verhindern.
