Test the start winding

  • This step will require a multimeter. If you aren't familiar with how to use one, here is a guide that will help you.

  • Disconnect the lower bare copper wire aligned with terminal #3.

  • Measure the resistance from the diagonal terminal (between terminals #4–#6) and the wire removed aligned with terminal #3.

  • The value should be 2.7–3.0 Ω. If it's outside that range or OL, the motor is defective and needs to be replaced.

Prueba el bobinado de arranque

Para este paso necesitarás un multímetro. Si no sabes cómo usar uno,aquí tienes una guía que te ayudará.

Desconecta el cable de cobre desnudo inferior alineado con el terminal nº 3.

Mide la resistencia del terminal diagonal (entre los terminales #4-#6) y el cable retirado alineado con el terminal #3.

El valor debe ser de 2,7-3,0 Ω. Si está fuera de ese rango u OL, el motor está defectuoso y hay que reemplazarlo.
