Test the thermal cutoff switch

  • If you do not need to test the thermal cutoff switch, skip this step.

  • This step will require a multimeter. If you aren't familiar with how to use one, here is a guide that will help you.

  • With the thermal cutoff switch disconnected, you can check it for continuity. It should show continuity (less than 1 Ω) at room temperature.

  • If it shows OL or anything above 1 Ω, replace it.

Probar el interruptor de corte térmico

Si no necesitas comprobar el interruptor de corte térmico, sáltate este paso.

Para este paso necesitarás un multímetro. Si no sabes cómo usarlo, aquí tienes una guía que te ayudará.

Con el interruptor térmico desconectado, puedes comprobar su continuidad. Debe mostrar continuidad (menos de 1 Ω) a temperatura ambiente.

Si muestra OL o algo por encima de 1 Ω, sustitúyelo.
