Free the top plate

Once the back plate screws are removed, look at the top plate of the coffee machine.
Then detach the top plate using an opening pick or a plastic opening tool if needed.
The top plate if firmly maintained by clips all around its perimeter, it may require a little force to detach it.
Once it’s detached fully, do not remove the top plate fully for now as the power button behind the top plate is connected by wires to the rest of the coffee machine and need to be removed to free the top plate fully.
